Susan Daly's interest in food started at the age of 5, when a boy dared her to eat a worm; she did, and pronounced it "disgusting." She has never eaten another, but continues to explore new taste sensations through cooking for family and friends and frequent visits to local diners and fine restaurants. Reading cookbooks is a favorite pastime and she dreams of a fourth career as the next Julia Child.
