Bronco Bob’s Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce

Bronco BobBronco Bob’s makes some great marinades and sauces. On a regular day, I am not fan of bottled marinades or salad dressings.  But, when Bronco Bob’s Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce found its way into my kitchen, I must say I was pleasantly surprised.  I didn’t realize how well raspberries pair with chipotle peppers.  The taste had a enjoyable blend of sweet and spicy that didn’t knock me over. To me, not knocking me over is a good thing, because I am one who skips the spicy section of a menu.  Now, don’t get me wrong.  There was a kick.  But not an offensive TKO.

I used my sauce on grilled salmon which brought a grin to my food-filled mouth.  But, I am thinking this is a sauce that can be utilized in both savory and sweet dishes.  Sure, it would go well with meat proteins, like fish or turkey, but what about breakfast burritos. mashed potatoes, or over veggies? Maybe a sweetened cream cheese or goat cheese tart or pancakes? I am going to have to continue to experiment.

However it is used, and if its not a familiar item already, I think Bronco Bob’s Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce will become a fast favorite in many households, including my own.

I love chipotle sauce but can’t say as I’ve tried it in the raspberry variety. Bet it’s good in a chicken sauce or marinade. Yummy!
