I would add to this list shallots, Vidalia onions, fleur de sel (French sea salt), really good virgin olive oil and really good aged balsamic, some great olives - i.e. nicoise, Kalamata... and always a bottle of tasty white wine (preferably a Meursault) to enjoy whilst preparing a great meal.</description>
