Alternative Uses for Coffee Filters

Wikipedia Photo - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Coffee_Filter_2006_09_09.JPGAlthough I don’t drink coffee, I do sometimes use coffee filters … to clean mirrors and glass.  They’re perfect for that because they don’t leave any lint behind.  What else can you use coffee filters for?

- Slit the middle and slide up a ice cream stick or popsicle to catch the messy drips.

- Put between stacked cast iron and nonstick cookware to prevent scratches.

- Put on top of dishes you’re microwaving to prevent splatters.

- When you’re straining oil to save for another use, put a basket-style coffee filter in the strainer to keep out pieces of food.
