					<description>Geri, Yes, it's one of the best oven proof pots you can buy.  You should use it for slow-cooked soups and stews.  You can start on the stove top and move to the oven.  It's great for slow-braising meat too. Doesn't stick really, you can saute in it, braise, stew, roast, nearly anything.  Just make sure you have some fat or liquid with what you're cooking.  It takes a long time to heat up and cool down so make sure to wear oven mitts longer than usual when moving it.  Good luck! Have fun, you've got a GREAT purchase there for $5.
