Angled Measuring Cup – A Product Review

This might very well be the shortest review I will ever write for The Cook’s Kitchen. I would never have guessed that something as simple as a measuring cup could be improved upon until I laid eyes on this one by OXO International. Actually, the photograph I took showing the 16oz and the 2oz measuring cups says it all, but here are some more details…. A patented angled surface within the cup lets you read measurement markings by looking straight down into the cup. This means no more pouring, lifting & looking, then pouring again. Plus, the markings are easy to read without reading glasses.

These measuring cups come in 4 sizes with your choice of plastic or stainless. All except the mini have handles with a non-slip grip. The plastic 16oz one retails for around $7, and in stainless the cost is around $15.

When it comes to kitchen tools, it is always a matter of personal preference when selecting a certain design or features. You have to decide what you consider essential, a luxury or just a waste of money. That being said, my overall grade of this kitchen tool is a solid A. I would strongly recommend this tool for purchase.

I use those measuring cups all the time. My father bought me my first one about 3 years ago. They’re a great invention.
